The legend
Tulsi — “the holy basil”.
At the centre of the old courtyards stood the tulsi vrindavan — a carved stone planter for the sacred basil, tended at dawn and lit at dusk. Tulsi is that tradition, redrawn in clean contemporary steps of golden Jaisalmer stone.
The fossil-flecked limestone glows under evening light exactly as the haveli walls of Jaisalmer do.
Every Tulsi is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 45 × 45 × 60 cm, in a honed finish.
Every haveli courtyard kept one plant above all others.
