The legend

Sarita — “the river”.

Ganga and Yamuna, carved as goddesses, have flanked temple doorways for fifteen centuries. Sarita carries the river indoors: a monolith of blue Sky Blue quartzite, water welling silently from its crown and sheeting down every face.

Wet, the stone turns a deeper blue — the river rising inside the rock, twice a day or all day, as you please.

Every Sarita is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 120 cm, in a honed finish.
