The legend
Saras — “the lake”.
Udaipur’s palaces ring their lakes like jewellery; the first light of Mewar lands on water held by stone. Saras is that meeting, made small: a river-pebble form of Golden Ivory quartzite, hollowed to hold your morning.
Because the form is freehand, no two Saras basins in the world share an outline.
Every Saras is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: ≈ 50 cm freeform, in a leathered, honed bowl finish.
Palace mornings began at the lake.
