The legend
Prastha — “the outspread”.
The palace terraces of the north were dressed in pale stone — expanses wide enough to seat a court under the open sky. Prastha, “the outspread”, borrows that gesture: a single plane of Golden Ivory quartzite folding to the floor at both ends, a royal terrace remade as a table.
The honey veining runs the full length and turns the mitred waterfall edge unbroken — the unmistakable mark of one block, cut and matched by hand in our New Delhi atelier.
Every Prastha is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 260 × 110 × 74 cm, in a leathered finish.
An emperor’s table was never wood. Wood burns; dynasties prefer stone.
