The legend
Mauna — “the silence”.
Indian builders saved their greatest skill for the garbhagriha — the small, silent heart of the temple. Mauna borrows that stillness: three softened forms rising as one column of Indian Statuario, saying nothing, holding the room.
Carved from one block so the veins travel uninterrupted through all three forms.
Every Mauna is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 170 cm, in a honed finish.
The deepest room of a temple is the quietest.
