The legend
Dwara — “the door”.
The haveli builders knew the door outlives the house. Dwara is a full carved portal in Jodhpur red sandstone — moulded jambs, a flowering band, a frame built to make every arrival an occasion.
Carved in sections, set on site by our team, and good for a few centuries of homecomings.
Every Dwara is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 280 cm, in a hand-carved, honed finish.
In Shekhawati, families spent fortunes on doorways and called it thrift.
