Devalaya — Makrana White Marble

Devalaya

The legend

Devalaya — “the abode of the divine”.

Makrana marble crowned an empire’s mausoleum, but in the same decades it was quietly building something humbler — the home mandir. Devalaya honours both lineages: a simplified shikhara, jaali side screens, and a warm glow held in the inner niche.

Built in carved sections by hands trained in temple work, and assembled in your home in a single day.

Every Devalaya is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 120 × 180 cm, in a hand-honed, carved jaali finish.

The stone that built the Taj has always kept a smaller duty: the family shrine.
